Three Questions With... Muniya Barua

Find comfort in the uncomfortable...

Vox Pops episode 19 🎥

This week, I was joined by Muniya Barua, Deputy CEO at BusinessLDN for a wide ranging discussion on her career, the role her organisation plays in making London a great place to work, and some reflections on her earlier career.

I've often advised candidates that you need a bit of discomfort, a bit of fear in your role. It's one of the things that helps you know you haven't yet out grown it.

So it was great to hear Muniya acknowledge that "it's ok to be scared" and to hear her talk about a piece of advice she received from her Editor early on in her career, "the best time to go for things is when you don't think you are quite ready".

Truly grateful to Muniya for taking time out of her busy schedule of wielding her convening power over Mayors, the Police, and Business Improvement Districts to speak with me. 😉

Three Questions With... Muniya Barua

🔷 Wait, what do you do again?

🔷 What advice would you give your younger self?

🔷 If you weren't doing this, what would you be doing?

See you at the top!
