Last week we entered the world of fractional comms for the first time on here, so what better way to follow it up than a foray into agency life. 

I was really pleased to sit down with Phil Borge-Slavnich, Co-Founder and Director at Woosah. I've admired Phil for many years, first meeting him when I was a naïve young(ish) PR agency recruiter. So to be able to sit down with him now we have both started our own businesses was a real treat.

We talked a lot about running your own firm, but also what it means to be in a service business and the challenge of sticking to your principles in the face of someone who will pay you money, but doesn't respect your craft. 

As Phil (via Maya Angelou) states, "never make someone a priority when all you are to them is an option".
